Dimple Amol Kharat was diagnosed with Acute myeloid leukemia (AML). She is currently undergoing treatment at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai where she has been advised to undergo a Bone Marrow Transplant. Fortunately her sister is a matched donor.
