Balveer was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia when he was 4 years old and has been since taking treatment at Sion Hospital, Mumbai under Dr Sujata Sharma. He has been advised chemotherapy and oral maintenance therapy. He has just started his treatment and has so far completed two cycles.
