Sahil Gulage aged 20 years, is undergoing treatment for blood cancer at Sahyadri Hospital, Pune, under the care of Dr. Subramanyam Kannan. He was first diagnosed in 2020 when he was studying in 9th standard and underwent curative treatment. A bright student, he is current doing a BSc in Microbiology. The family thought the nightmare was over but the disease reappeared in February 2025. A bone marrow transplant has been advised in May 2025 and the expected cost for the procedure is Rs. 18.00,000/-. 49 year old Patient Varsha Tripathi was diagnosed with stage 2/3 of Neoplastic Astrocytoma Grade 3 and ITP Immuno Thrombobyopatnic purpura in 2018. The brain tumour was surgically removed followed by chemotherapy and radiation. The attending doctors at Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital have now advised immediate surgery to take care of the recurrence.
