COMMIT TO QUIT, MOTIVATE TO QUIT was the clarion call of WHO for World No Tobacco Day 2021. On this occasion, Dr. Anil D'Cruz, President, UICC & Director of Oncology at Apollo Hospitals shared his insights on tobacco hazards and cancer prevention to encourage everyone to commit and motivate to quit. Bollywood personalities Vishal Dadlani, Sunny Leone and Jonita Gandhi joined hands with CPAA on its virtual platforms to encourage people to Commit to Quit. On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day 2021, CPAA in collaboration with Marath Mol Mulund presented a virtual awareness program on 'Oral Cancer and the ill-effects of Tobacco' by Dr. Sanjay Dudhat (Head of Surgical Oncology, Nanavati Super Speciality Hospital and Ms. Neeta More (Executive Director, CPAA) on 31 May 2021. Mr Shantanu Bhadkamkar, Ex-President of Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry & Agriculture presided as the chief guest.
Emerging from COVID-19:

An international alliance lead by Impresario Global invited CPAA to be a part of a cross-cultural dialogue of global thought leaders to foster holistic wellness and recovery called. Lead by Actor and CPAA Ambassador Vivek Oberoi, this event aimed to raise funds to provide holistic meals to cancer patients impacted by COVID-19.

World Cancer Day 2021:

On World Cancer Day, CPAA joined hands with Rotary Club and Inner Wheel Club of Mumbai Nariman Point, Rotary Dist 3141 and Lotus Leaf Entertainment to present a virtual fundraising concert, Umeed-Ray of Hope. 100 goody bags full of eatables, toys and utility items were also distributed in wards of AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi.

International Childhood Cancer Day 2021:

This year's theme was 'Better Survival Through Our Hands'. Team CPAA celebrated this occasion at Mumbai's B J Wadia Hospital by contributing to the 'Tree of Life' had children from all over the world, participating with their own hand-prints, giving hope and encouragement to thousands like them battling cancer every day.
Colours of Life 2021:

CPAA's annual art exhibition and sale that aims to provide continued assistance to cancer patients has now assumed a digital avatar and changed colours to a new monthly format in view of the ongoing pandemic. A medley of groups and solo art shows were presented online from January - June, featuring 189 works of 78 artists.

CPAA organised a cancer screening along with HPV screening camp for 161 villagers and school staff and HPV vaccination program for 200 girls between age group of 9-18 years of Eklavya Parivartan Residential School at Vidhayak Sansad, Usgaon, Dongri, Dist. Palghar on 18th March 2021.

CPAA's Nikhar Ranawat presented a paper on 'Application of Arts Based Therapies for Children Fighting Cancer' at the 13th Childhood Cancer International's Asia Conference, virtually. Participants from several countries working in the Paediatrics and Childhood Cancer attended this online program.

Bollywood choreographer Feroz Khan joined hands with CPAA to host a first of its kind dance workshop, where childhood cancer patients across the country were invited to join in for a fun filled conversations and to learn dancing.

CPAA's Anita Peter was recognised for her contribution towards cancer support and advocacy with the MEGA (Make Earth Green Again Foundation) Achiever Award at a program organised to recognise and celebrate women achievers across the country on Womens' Day.

Holi Celebration- Holi was celebrated with 50 childhood cancer patients at the AIIMS Hospital, New Delhi keeping in mind all the Covid-19 protocols on 29th March.

On National Cancer Survivors Day, 10th June 2021, Susmita Mitra gave a talk on life after cancer - 'Vijeyta-Winning over Cancer' at a virtual program organised by CACI.
